Library Resources & Databases
I created my first LibGuide aimed at Mythology for Youth - mainly for third through ninth grade students. There are also some explainers for databases available through Prince William County Library. I have a second LibGuide below that has to do with cartoons and comics in education. It is aimed to assist educators in creating dynamic lessons or planning project-based learning deliverables.
LibGuide - Illustrating Education - This is a work in progress, I am still updating and adding information to this guide but it is already a vital resource for educators.
Short informal explainer about Access on Demand - a database with over 40,000 videos for educational purposes offered through Prince William County Library.
Introduction to Today's Science - a database with science resources offered by Prince William County Library

Global Literature - Award Sites This collection has a variety of websites for international book awards for K-12 global literature. This curation is a work in progress, it is meant to help educators with finding international literature for use in a classroom.
Media Literacy K-12 Wakelet - I wanted to put together some resources and articles for Media Literacy for K-12. This collection has over 40 items in it including organizations that support media literacy, teacher resources, articles and more.
Research & Citation for Students Wakelet - A series of sources ranging from search engines, citation how-tos, credible primary source sites and digital tools to help manage citations or discussions. The sources range for students from Elementary through High School. This is a work in progress, and I will continue to add to this collection.
